Trip To Vancouver!

Traveling to another city is one of the greatest chances for students living abroad. I really wanted to visit Vancouver, Canada. Vancouver is very close to Seattle, so my friend and I could take a bus to get there. It took just 4 hours and was much closer than California. We spent 3 days in Vancouver. My first memory was the weather; it was an unbelievable temperature, around 94. A hot, sunny day is better than rainy days but it was so hard when we were walking.

I went to Capilano Park on the second day. Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is one of the most popular and oldest tourist attractions in Vancouver since 1889. You can see beautiful nature and grand well preserved sights. Also you can have tranquility, adventure, thrills and an unforgettable experience all in one place.

First, you should walk across the 450-foot-long and 230-foot-high bridge. Can you imagine that?! It was totally amazing and cliff-hanging. That’s why the bridge’s name is Suspension Bridge. My friend was especially nervous because the bridge was swinging when people were walking on it.

And then, I went Dr. Wood’s Cabin, Raptors Ridge, Treetops Adventure and Nature’s Edge.

My favorite part was the Treetop Adventure. It was composed of seven suspension bridges through magnificent old growth Douglas-firs. The trees were hundreds of years old, so they were huge and tall. I could smell resin, grass, and soil and they made me feel healthy. :)

Next, I went back to the long suspension bridge again to the cliff walk. This part was my favorite. The Cliff Walk took me beyond the cliff face far above the Capilano River Canyon. These suspended walkways along sheer granite cliff faces offered stunning views on this heart-stopping cliff-side journey. However, this could be acceptable for some people because of the weight limit.

I had an amazing experience in Capilano Park.
I strongly suggest you visit there if you travel to Vancouver.
